HISTORY

History of this house, which was built in the immediate vicinity of the Main Gate of Prague Castle, dates back to the 15th century. The gothic period is represented by its cellar premises that were reconstructed, along with the entire house, in 1998.

At the top of Nerudova street close to the famous Prague castle in the centre of historic Malá Strana (Lesser Quarter)

ACCOMMODATION

Hotel "U brany" offers ten spacious apartments whose historical value is underlined by tasteful choice of furniture. All apartments are situated above the ground floor.
Our most spatious apartment is situated in the attic and has a nice view over the panorama of the Prague Castle.
You can choose from two, three and four-bed apartments, all with a private bathroom, satellite TV, direct dial telephones, mini-bar, and a safe.

Although the hotel is in the zone of restricted parking, the hotel can offer parking near the hotel at a cost of 200 CZK per day.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

A wine bar seating 40 people is located in the basement. A conventional restaurant (60 seats) and a lounge (20 seats) are to be found on the first floor.
