Hotel Palace *****
HISTORY
The Palce Hotel was built in 1906 in
Viennese Art Nouveau style. The design was the work the work of František
Buldro, a Prague builder and the owner of the hotel, together with George
Justich, the architect. In 1924, after Mr. Emanuel Oppel bought the
building, Hotel Palace Praha became a sought-after center of social and
cultural life and one of the few luxury 5-star hotels in Prague.

Top quality hotel in the very
centre of Prague offering 124 luxury, fully air-conditioned rooms,
including suites, for single or double occupancy. All rooms are furnished
with period furniture, a colour television set with satellite programming,
prepaid television channels and access to the internet. Hotel offers
conference rooms and multifunctional area suitable for a wide variety of
receptions or cocktail parties. The rooms are further equipped with a
minibar, a safe, 2 direct-dial telephones and the option of connection a
fax or a computer. The bathrooms are lined with Carrara marble and of a
Art Nouveau design. The Hotel has a wide range of suites available,
from Junior Suite up to a Presidential Suite. The hotel has its own
garage.
RESTAURANT
Dining FacilitiesAn uncommon
culinary experience in the typical atmosphere of an English Club from the
beginning of the twentieth century, with an open fireplace and live piano
music is featured by the Gourmet Club Restaurant & Lounge. Its
excellent service with authentic silverware and consummate gastronomy is
supplemented in other restaurant areas (e.q. L'EPOQUE Restaurant, or the
GOURMET PALACE LOUNGE) by an informal offering of meals and beverages.
CONFERENCE
Hotel Palace Praha offers standard
conference rooms but also a modular multifunctional area on the second
floor, suitable for a wide variety of receptions or cocktail
parties.
