Hotel Atlantic ***
HISTORY
The tradition of the Hotel Atlantic dates back as far as to the 17th century. At that time there was a roadside inn "The Green Ox" with several guest rooms.
In 1845 the first engine arrived at today's Masaryk's railway Station and the inn was rebuilt to a hotel and renamed "The English Court", many Royal and other prominent guests stayed in its spacious and comfortable rooms.
In 1935 the hotel was reconstructed and got its present name "The Atlantic Hotel". The last reconstruction was carried out in the years 1988-1989.
LOCATION
The hotel is situated 10 minutes walking distance from Wenceslas Square and 5 minutes from the banking centre of Prague. The underground station "Námestí republiky" ( The Square of the Republic ) on the line B is in the close proximity.
ACCOMMODATION
60 comfortable rooms, suites and rooms for disabled people. Rooms are fitted with shower, WC, colour TV, AM/FM radio, direct-dial (IDD) telephone and mini-bar. Guests will find not only good service but also a warm and friendly atmosphere - second home on your travels.
CONFERENCE
We can arrange a wide range of events, e.g. parties, banquets, conferences, etc. The rooms have got daylight, and are fitted with communication systems, and are equipped for interpreting.
The banqueting is situated in the back wing of the hotel, and a quiet atmosphere is ensured. The large room takes about 80 people and the small one takes about 25 people.
RESTAURANTS
The Hotel Atlantic offers you a billiard bar, a winter garden, a banqueting room and a conferencing room "Atlantic".
In the billiard bar and winter garden we dessert specialities. You can taste Moravian wines, cocktails and drinks including the world-famous Pilsen beer.
HOTEL SERVICES
At the reception, we can put your valuables in our hotel safe box. We can book theatre and concert tickets for you.
We can arrange for court for you (even in winter period) to play tennis.
We will park your car in the adjacent garage and drive it back to you in front of the hotel.
We will wash and dry-clean your clothes.
News-paper, souvenirs, postcards and many other things are available at the front desk.
